If eMail confirmation cannot be sent a post card will be mailed.  3).  There are No Refunds for Distance Learning Programs or Onsite Learning Programs  4).  If a student cancels, at the discretion of Charles W Wiltsie d/b/a Lypossage esthetiques International, LLC, a credit may be issued toward a future class.  5). Final Payment:  Registrants will not receive a certificate until payment has been received.  6).  If payment is not received 10 days prior to the class, the certificate will not be present at the seminar.  7).  If your payment is returned NSF it will be represented electronically, and a processing fee will be charged.

Superior Personal and Business Ethics are essential when serving the Massage Therapy Client.  In this class you will review Business, Money, Dual Relationships, Transference, Counter-Transferance, Scope of Practice, Culture, Assimilating Common Sense and Law, Framework, Service.  We will do this by using resources from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and other relevant sources.  An example of some of the discussions in the class can be seen in this Dianne Polseno Article.  The class requires some introspective thought and allows therapists to come together and share what they have learned over the years, with other.  I look forward to seeing you!

What is a Founding Faculty Team Member?

A Founding Faculty Team Member is an  Employee of Lypossage esthetiques International, LLC and is trained directly by Lypossage developer Charles W. Wiltsie III, LMT.  You will be trained to Consult and Train Massage Therapists in Lypossage Zone 1, 2 & 3, Lypossage massage lymphatiques Full Body Treatment, Ethics, Advanced Spa Training and Practice Building 1 and 2. This is a paid position.  Requirements are as follows:

  • 5 Years Experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist with B.S. Degree preferred.
  • 100 hours of Faculty Training in Lypossage, Ethics, Advanced Spa Training and Practice Building 1 and 2.  Training will be held in Middletown, Connecticut.
  • Self-Starter with the ambition and ability to organize training events

This Lypossage® course teaches the qualified health services provider about the body contouring treatment developed by Charles Wiltsie, LMT, known as Lypossage®.  Lypossage® is based on Complex Physical Therapy for Lymphoedema and Myofascial Massage.  It is a goal oriented treatment that may help clients reduce the "look" of cellulite, contour the body and face.  This class includes information on topics such as assessment and special populations, ethics and business along with lots of hands-on learning.  Lypossage® is taught in 3 areas, called Zones.  Zone 1 extends from the navel to the midthigh, Zone 2 from the navel to the clavicle and arms, and Zone 3 focuses on the head neck and face.

Outcomes: The massage therapist will have enough of an understanding of the spa business, including spa terminology, to get a job in a spa or to begin introducing spa products and services into her/his work environment.  In addition, the student will be taught and know different methods of product application and removal.  The student will also understand the spa environment and how it may differ from a therapeutic massage practice.  Educational Materials and Spa Products Included.

This is a challenging course but if the Health Services Provider pays attention to the business discussions in the class and follows the Business Plan Outline, the likelihood of business failure will be reduced and the probability of success will be greater.
